Welsh Nest provides free advice and, for qualifying households, supported energy-efficiency improvements. The Boiler Upgrade Scheme also operates in Wales for qualifying heating changes.
Who May Qualify for Nest?
- Own or privately rent your property
- Receive a means-tested benefit or have low household income
- Home EPC score of 54 (E) or below; some qualifying health-condition households can be eligible at EPC score 68 (D) or below

Read the official Nest guidance or call 0808 808 2244. Nest can assess routes for help even if you are unsure about eligibility.
Heating Grants
Under the Boiler Upgrade Scheme, the certified installer normally applies for the grant on your behalf.
