Home Energy Scotland provides independent advice on qualifying grants and interest-free loans. Different measures receive different forms of support.
Potential Support
- Qualifying heat-pump grants, generally up to £7,500 with additional rural support in certain circumstances
- Qualifying insulation grants and interest-free loans subject to conditions
- Window upgrades may receive loan support under specified requirements rather than universal free double glazing
Important Exclusion
Ordinary solar PV and domestic battery systems are not generally covered by the main Home Energy Scotland grant-and-loan scheme. Do not assume a Scottish heat-pump grant can fund solar.
